Dr. Wes Berry, aka “Professor Porkbelly,” hit the trails of Kentucky for years in search of the best smoke, the best flavor, and the best pitmasters he could find.  On Thursday June 27th, AZUR and Food News & Chews TV Show will host a patio BBQ which celebrates the food and lore of Wes’ journeys as showcased in the newly published The Kentucky Barbecue Book.

 


 

Using his research we have created a menu representing some of Kentucky’s native regional barbecue styles paired with great fixins.  Join us at AZUR for this coming together of traditional KY BBQ cooking methods, great friends and great food. 

Wes Berry will be in the house to give us a special introduction to the rich history of Kentucky BBQ.
