Food News & Chews Episode 37 - CRAVE LEXINGTON!

Join us on this episode of Food News & Chews TV Show as we chat all things CRAVE LEXINGTON with Robbie Morgan and many of the fine folks working to bring Lexington its' first outdoor food + music makers' festival!


Food news covers food events in the Bluegrass, a Kentucky Monthly story in November and interesting beer names.  

Chef Jeremy & Sylvia chat with Robbie Morgan, Director of Events for Smiley Pete, about Lexington's first outdoor food + music makers' weekend festival.  CRAVE LEXINGTON will be held in Beaumont Centre September 21 - 22.  Robbie talks CRAVE LEXINGTON conceptually, pop up events and rockstar chefs & musicians participating for the weekend.  Brick & mortar chefs join mobile chefs for a weekend of culturally diverse and seasonal food during the festival.  Hop on a trail during the weekend.  Robbie describes the fun food trails at the festival.  Cooking demonstrations from local home chefs and masters will inspire the chef in all of us.  Check out the website for information on a unique chef pairing on Saturday night called the Hi Lo Slow Dinner as well the Sunday Brunch at Azur by Chef Jeremy hosted by Food News & Chews to kickoff Sunday festivities.  Music for the weekend will include local, regional and international acts.  The music will be as diverse as the food; Bluegrass, Blues, Bollywood and more! 

In our cooking segment we visit with some chefs participating in CRAVE LEXINGTON weekend.  We sample some greek, asian, american and Thai made ice cream.  A delicious segment!
