Yes We Can - Episode 203

On this episode of Food News and Chews, we’re visiting the Jackson County Regional Food Center to find out how local farms and the community benefit from these types of facilities. We get a crash course in canning from Jackson County Cooperative Extension Family and Consumer Sciences Agent, Clare Kincaid. Then, we meet Gina Micciche and Joey Farmer of Lucky Clover Farm and find out how they’re using the center to make their jams and jellies. Finally, Chef Jeremy makes quick pickles and then uses those quick pickles to make fried pickles with a remoulade sauce for dipping.
